The Abbreviated Version: Our surveyor offered up a recommendation to limit the disturbance: Make sure the footprint of the new house overlaps the footprint of the existing house as much as possible. Sounds logical enough, right? So we explored a couple different options to see how disturbance would be impacted. Problem is, you just can’t necessarily predict what a bulldozer’s gonna do.
