Like many preschoolers, our lil munchkins are all drama, all the time. As we pulled up to Chimney House last night, our 3-year-old’s eyes just about popped out of his head and our 4-year-old’s jaw nearly hit the floor when he saw the latest state of affairs. Can’t say I blame them!
Since there are many salvageable materials at the house, may as well put them to use. So we offered them up to neighbors, the guys who took the oil tank, and other people who were interested for whatever reason. Here are a few photos of what we walked into:

“Hey, some random dude is parked in your driveway, loading up his truck with something that looks like plywood,” reported my sister in NY, watching the Live Video Feed yesterday. Turns out a neighbor wanted to repurpose the hardwoods.
And my personal favorite… who ever knew that old wall ovens could add such a lovely sparkle to your landscaping?
