The Declaration of Covenants is an agreement we signed with the county that says that we promise to build and take care of the stormwater management features that were listed on our Environmental Concept Plan (ECP). Specifically, we agreed to build a bio-retention pond at the front of the property that would collect much of the rain water that comes through our gutters and dispose of that water in a way that won’t contaminate local bodies of water.
This agreement was the last piece of the puzzle before our SDP could get signed, and now that it’s complete, we’re cleared to submit for permits as soon as we pick up the signed SDP from the county.
