This Week’s Location: Sitting amidst a sea of freshly-installed HARDWOOD FLOORS! (i.e. hands-down, my absolute most FAVORITE part of any construction project!) Also, get a glimpse of the newly-primed walls… dare I say it’s actually looking like a house!?! Next on deck: Builders First Source
trim carpenters are heading in to start installing doors, baseboards, crown molding — all the extra touches that will give this house the Craftsman-inspired treatment it deserves. :o)

Nice! Congrats on getting the hardwoods in! This is also probably my favorite step in the whole process because it finally feels like it’s getting done 🙂 Can’t wait to see the finished product!
How many total square feet is the house going to be?

The house will end up being about 3300 sf of finished living space and 700 sf of unfinished space (storage and mechanical area of the basement).
