Watch on Wednesday: Week 3
This Week’s Location: Sitting beside the newly-finished foundation walls, under a gorgeous Japanese maple tree . We paid over $600 to save that tree, but it was worth every last penny. In fact, although it would have ultimately given us a deeper building envelope, we passed on the option to move the driveway to the side of the lot. Because that would have required us to cut down perfectly awesome trees — and that’s just not something we were willing to do!
